Sunrise provides a positive and accepting environment for individuals who require social and learning opportunities after graduating from High School. With a participant-to-staff ratio of 4:1 or better, SYG’s Day Program creates a safe and supportive environment where all individuals feel welcome. It assists in the development and retention of work experience, life skills and social interaction in a group environment.
Our Recreational Programs run in the evenings and weekends. Our programs are supported by one or two staff members along with students/volunteers. Without the support of our dedicated volunteers our programs would not be possible!
We are now offering Virtual Programming twice a day throughout the week. Learn important life skills, have fun, play games and make friends!
Volunteers fuel SYG Recreation Programs with their energy, enthusiasm and new ideas. They are encouraged to take on as much responsibility as they would like and feel comfortable with.
